In 2000, Bryce Styles unsuspectingly stumbled onto this magical site hidden deep in the forest. Returning in 2007, he laid the groundwork for what would become Crestview Winery by carving out a vineyard from the dense forest. Determination, hard work and 10 years later, the final touches were made to the inside of the tasting room and Crestview Winery opened to the public. Winemaker Devin Mayo demonstrated his prowess by first releasing an award winning Merlot, followed by an amazingly popular Gewürztraminer. Today, wine aficionados from around the globe venture into the Mediterranean themed winery to sample from 9 wines made in the traditional styles of Northern Italy.
The key to a great wine is a great vineyard. Here at Crestview Winery, only the finest ingredients are used to make award-winning wines and that includes only sourcing grapes from our estate vineyard. By using sustainable vineyard practices and hand harvesting the crop, we assure that our vines will remain healthy and productive for generations to come.
Our small-scale, but state of the art winery allows for the highest level of quality control. From temperature-controlled fermentation to barrel aging, the processes used to create award-winning wines here at Crestview Winery ensure the best customer experience for all of our visitors.
Winemaker, Devin Mayo, arrived on the scene 7 years ago from the Finger Lakes region in upstate New York. There he focused on gaining experience in varietals we offer today, while also traveling to northern Italy to apprentice with well-known winemakers in the region. We are proud to have Devin as a part of our team!
We offer a selection of 9 wines; including 3 reds, 4 whites, a rosé, and a sparkling wine. Choose among varietals like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewürztraminer.
